Exstinguished Flame

Inspired by Charles Hall's amazing Puzzle card Covers...I decided to try my hand at one of my favorite covers...this is an attempt at recreating the cover to UNCANNY X-MEN 136...originally issued in AUG 1980 and drawn by the Amazing John Byrne....I absolutely love the drama behind this cover....it seems so bright yet so morbid...an iconic reference for sure.
